You read

lit up,

laughing.

You read

looking

into the depths.

You read

seeing beyond

what is

to what can be.

You read

lit up

and light me,

too.

.

.

.

(In praise of my wonderful editor, Vikki, who looks at the messes I get myself into, and asks all the right questions to help me find my way again).

Lovely though your poems are Shawn, it seems ages since we’ve had a blog full of interesting things about you, about the family or about school. Maybe some news of the WIP you have on Fb?

    • True David. I’ve shifted focus on the blog, in response to what the readers prefer based on the stats. I use Twitter for commentary, FB for samples, and the blog for poetry. As to the WIP- until I met up with Vikki today, I was staring at a lot of charts and notes. Got some writing done tonight though, so hopefully I’ll be able to get back into the rhythm and I’ll have more to post on FB soon.

the way I see it here is that is the way a writer would want to create to experience the bliss from that offering felt by another. btw….I’ve finally received some good news as to the stresser I’ve been absorbing. hence that is why I was struggling in other areas.
