Voyeur at the glass
watching as I bathe;
crow on my skylight
peeking again.
Voyeur at the glass

The poem is entitled Tiger Lily
but the accompanying photo
shows a Stargazer Lily.
I am trying not to mind.
On the side of the highway:
a body of thick fur and flat leathery tail.
Why did the beaver cross the road?
I guess we’ll never know.
As long as
I desire you at bedtime
and you desire me upon waking,
I think it will work out.
A new beginning begins
Another old ending ends
A circle encircles again
Time encloses and bends

Snow dances off my roof
wind weaves white ribbons of light
and holds aloft crystaline
lace doilies.
