What wasn’t
When she opened her eyes
Was what she’d wished for
For so long
That wishing was all she had.
What was
When she opened her eyes
Was what she’d been blind to
For so long
That wishing was all she’d had.
What wasn’t
When she opened her eyes
Was what she’d wished for
For so long
That wishing was all she had.
What was
When she opened her eyes
Was what she’d been blind to
For so long
That wishing was all she’d had.
Great poem for a cold frigid arctic day here in New York. We in the North east portion of the United States are trying to keep warm and waiting for this sub zero polar vortex to go away!! Wishing for summer! Sigh…………
It’s cold out here today, but many degrees warmer than you. It’s slippery out though. I have been ordered to take the All-wheel-drive vehicle to Rotary tonight.
Really nice.
Thanks
Beautiful! 🙂
Glad you liked it.

Lovely sentiment.
Though sometimes they are simply foolish imaginings…
