poem-there November 28, 2016

In the early morning

the view is clear;

we can see for miles.

As day emerges,

clouds obscure our vision,

our perspective decreases.

Clarity before obscurity.

Peace before busyness.

One to hold the other at bay.

      Personally, I’m a night owl, and more inclined to see dawn from the other direction. πŸ˜‰ We had a friend in town this weekend, staying at a B&B. He said when he got up, he had an amazing view, but by the time the wife woke up, everything was shrouded in mist. I could see a metaphor there! πŸ˜‰
