You’re pacing
a circuitous route
from living room
through kitchen,
pausing each time to pass
to stare meaningfully at me
as I ignore your
four feet. You’ve been fed,
you’ve been out.
I don’t have time for the fussing.
I have work to do.
Curl up, rest your head on my feet.
We can pick up the pace
together, tomorrow.

who is that cat?
Not a cat. Our standard poodle, OJ. (he’s shown at the bottom of the Welcome page)
I can recognise this behaviour – sounds just like our Bert 🙂
OJ says hello to Bert.
Must be a spoiled poodle lol. 😀
He’s a character! Check >>>>> under POODLES at right. He and his miniature poodle brother show up there.
i have never seen a poodle
Really? They are quite lovely dogs. They don’t shed, so they’re good for those of us with allergies. I have had one size of poodle (the smallest about 20 cm tall, the largest 65 cm tall) since I was 6 years old.
Sometimes, they are such babies.
I know! Fed, diapered, quit fussing! 😉 That was exactly what I was thinking.
You will be there tomorrow, you promise me….
Awwwwwww
