Why is it home
never smells quite right after
you’ve been away?
I thought it was just our house.
🙂 I’ve noticed this for several years, but this year it was a new scent. Not bad, just different. So weird.
Not enough air moving.
But what is in the air that’s not moving?
How true indeed! Yet the vaguely familiar air never fails to welcome. At least in my case. 🙂
Well, I know why ours didn’t when we came home today – the neighbors have been taking out some big trees and were burning the rubbish from them – so our house is decidedly smokey…
but they’re good neighbours
This is so true
True haha. Just written a funny poem too, mind having a look?
