Comes the sweet scent

of summer roses.

I throw rose petals in the air with bread crumbs on the beach just so I can imagine that seagulls like the esthetics of roses. They tell me they love roses but I don’t believe them, but it’s OK because I know they’re hungry and we can agree to be happy for all the wrong reasons. We both are in between something but feathered things are grand tickles.
