I know
you’re broken.
I see the fracture lines
behind your eyes
I feel the seepage
leaking from the crack in your soul.
I have
needle, thread
glue
and hope.
I’ll share.

lol
This is such a beautiful and meaningful piece. Such loving and encouraging words.
Thanks.
I love it.
I’m glad! Thanks for dropping by my blog.
Lovin’ the love. 🙂
Thanks.
I like your poem. “see the fracture through your eyes” a good line. Eyes tell so much more than words.
lol Still looking at that line, I confess. I’m pondering “see the fracture lines in your eyes” Hmm. Which do you prefer? Nice thing about digital publishing.
Thanks for stopping in!
I didn’t mean for you to change the line. I understood she “saw the fracture (of the soul, heart) through your eyes.” I prefer this line as you first shared it. Thanks.
It wasn’t quite right, and the change better reflects what I was visualizing: a fracture line visible when you look at the eyes- you know that slightly haunted expression? My blog poetry is always mutable.
What a beautiful expression of love.
Glad you liked it.
The . After the word broken… Perfect.
thanks
That’s Love.
