How to be a writer:
put words on the page every day.
Nothing more.
Nothing less.
Just write.

    That is so true. I’ve literally been writing poetry since I was in elementary school; however, I stopped writing when I started getting sick six years ago. I still wonder how much I could have really written when I was scrambling so because the rug was pulled out from beneath me. I’ve been amazed, though, by the Niagra Falls of words and emotion I’ve spilled onto countless pages since thinking I was merely dipping my toes in the water.

    Great advice. Thank you!

    Very true – Some days I’ve started out with “I don’t know what to say” or “I should write but…” it’s amazing what you can come up with.
