The university library stacks are wall to wall

floor to ceiling

so much knowledge between the covers

so much learning hard won

no time

to ever try to read it all.

I’m both inspired by libraries and overwhelmed by the fact that I know I can’t get through all the books that I want to!

    • I know! I once knew a teacher librarian who had been at the same elementary school for 20 years. She was proud of the fact that she’d read every book in that library. Imagine! She could recommend books for every kid with unfailing accuracy. (Such a loss when she retired).
