The university library stacks are wall to wall
floor to ceiling
so much knowledge between the covers
so much learning hard won
no time
to ever try to read it all.

Not all books may be read by one; not all the world may be experienced by one; therefore, all must be shared, by many.
and the voices in our heads sometimes are stories unto themselves.
One of the few regrets I will have when I transition is that I didn’t get to read all the books I wanted to. 😛
So many books, so little time…
So true, Mrs. Bird, how you faring with all the fires in the area, i really hope they don’t come close to you….
i’m not a believer, however i would like to send pray for you and your families safety!
love always chris
Yeah so little time to consume all the knowledge, an to think much more being added each an every moment….
Hey teach!
Yup.
You’re still so very young, now here sticking my foot into my mouth.
Well you look young however?
Young at heart, at least. I think the youthful looks come from avoiding vices! No smoking, no drinking… My father is the same. No one can believe he’s a hundred! 🙂
Your father is a hundred? Wow! Give him a big kiss for mankind!….
He’s pretty lively!
Great it’s great see old men, catch-up to the women of the time.
No fires where I am this year, yet at least.
Ya! or yeah, i don’t know how to spell it!
I’m both inspired by libraries and overwhelmed by the fact that I know I can’t get through all the books that I want to!
I know! I once knew a teacher librarian who had been at the same elementary school for 20 years. She was proud of the fact that she’d read every book in that library. Imagine! She could recommend books for every kid with unfailing accuracy. (Such a loss when she retired).
