This April snow
fills the air with pink petals and
scents the sky with spring.
.
http://www.napowrimo.net prompt for today, Earth Day, April 22 to write a pastoral poem, one about nature.
Ah, creates such a beautiful image!
Thanks, Jarrod.
Exactly!
Glad you like it, Becky.
Lovely
Thank you, kindly!
Happy Earth Day! As always another great poem. Mini gems.
Thanks, Deborah. Good to see you back!
We actually had a few flakes here and there this morning…:)
I notice the hills were dusted with more than blossoms today, even though yesterday we were 25C! Luckily here, the seasons stay where they belong on the calendar most of the time!
Spring and the last little bit of winter are having a tug of war here..
😦 My condolences.
Thank you (as I zip up my jacket to the neck)
The rub is: What do we call July snow?
As I recall from my time in Calgary, it was generally addressed as “OH SH*T!!!!”
Delicate image: the premonition of hope.
Hmm. Interesting.
Lol…April snow is nowhere far from fiction for those of us in tropical zone….such a relief it is to read it when we are burning here 🙂
lol
Beautiful view of yet more snow. You should have heard people grumble around here today. It sure was chilly on the soccer pitch.
Oh my! BRrrr!
