The welcome words

happy greetings,

shrieks and engulfing hugs,

cool nods,

teasing jokes.

Everywhere I turn

delight.

It is nice to be missed,

but nicer to be back.

(First day back to work after breaking my ankle.  Staff and students made me feel a bit like a rock star this morning with their enthusiasm.)

  1. Happy you have progressed to healing! Great news! I’m also feeling better. My arthritis pain has subsided. It is good to hear you are doing well. Grace, Peace & Blessings!

  2. Glad to hear your long ordeal is coming to an end, Shawn!

    • The doctor says it’ll be a year before I’m back to normal, but that I should be walking essentially normally in another couple of months. It would be so much better if I’d listened to John and stayed inside in the midst of the ice storm!

Great to hear that you are getting better Shawn. Get fully healed sooner than later.
(Hey, is it me or have you made some changes here?)

    • Changes? Nothing new aside from the Poetic Diversity Project (feel free to participate!) that’s running for a couple of weeks as final project for a grad school class.
