So why does a kilt catch all the girls’ eyes?

The risk that men run and what she might spy,

Should breeze catch a pleat and lift to the sky?

No, what catches the eye and makes hearts sing,

what makes her desire her own highland fling

is the lad’s stance and the way that kilt swings!

A man in a kilt breathes confidence, aye?

So don that kilt, laddie, make the girls sigh

when you swing those pleats as you saunter by!

.

.

A little rhyming for you today.  😉

“It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing, doo wah doo wah, doo wah doo wah!”

  1. I’d like this twice if I could. Especially considering the heritage of my last name. This was fun!

  2. elainecanham Says:

Or, as Andy Stewart used to sing:

Let the wind blow High, Let the wind blow low
Through the streets in my kilt I’ll go
    All the lassies say hello
    “Donald where’s your Trousers!?”

I came down from the Isle of Skye
I’m not too big and I’m awfully shy
The lassies say as I go by
    “Donald where’s your Trousers!?”

  3. And when he tosses that boulder, her heart swoons all the more.

    I like!

I also intimately know why women tuck their skirts under them when they get in to a car. Fortunately it was a cold day and not a hot one!

  5. davidprosser Says:

Sorry Shawn, it’s a bit nippy round the knees yet.
