How long ’til I stop
Checking behind me for my
faithful dog shadow?
Good bye Dusty Dog.
Shawn, I’m so sorry.
Thank you, Melody.
Hi Shawn, sorry your dog has gone, it is heart breaking to lose one’s close doggy companion. Strength, best wishes and blessings, Charles.
Thanks, Charles. It is.
You never stop looking for that shadow : ( At least I haven’t even though there is a new shadow following me.
We called him Dusty Shadow. On his last night, I couldn’t even sneak out to the bathroom, because he’d try to come, and he was barely walking. Heartbreaking devotion.
It is heartbreaking. I’m very sorry.
Aw Shawn…I’m so sorry for your loss. Warm hugs xo
Thank you, Julia.
For a while, you’ll check in your sleep, too. But your big ol’ heart will absorb it all.
Yes. I remember when we first lost Pepe I dreamed about him a lot. He was digging himself out of the grave, etc. 😦 I’m sure the two of them will be visiting the next while.
Ah. Mr. Kipling and Mr. Winter need to meet in heaven and discuss their dogs. 🙂
I would love to listen to that conversation.
It’ll be a while, from my experience. Many <>
Yes. I expect so.
Oh dear, so sorry about your buddy 😦 Hugs.
Time… In my lonely garden I still hear Bruce’s bell.It OK to grieve x
It is never a short process, is it?
I’m so sorry for your loss. Our animal companions teach us as much in their absence as they do in their presence. Prayers for comfort and healing in this time of grief.
Thank you, Jennifer.
