Dirty clothes piled in the bath room,
Plates and projects in the living room
Books piled in the dining room
Clean laundry 4 feet high in the dressing room.
Everywhere there’s work to do
and I just want to cuddle you.

work – work – will keep us motivated – Your poem is just amazing!
So NOT motivated. I did empty the dishwasher and shave one poodle leg.
Small gains are still gains!
lol
🙂
Similar feelings but since my boyfriend and I don’t live together cuddling will wait until later. Dropped my dirty laundry off at the laundromat to be done. Will pick up later. One thing I do remember when I was young living with my parents I washed the dishes and did the laundry so my parents could rest! Too bad I can’t train my cats to do housework! LOL!!
Well, the kid taking over my guest room does not seem inclined to do chores, but at least he buys eggs.
That is a wonderful snapshot of a universal condition.
lol
Sounds familiar.
Glad to know I’m not alone!
excuses, excuses… 🙂
lol
Oh, let it go. Tomorrow is another day. Everyone needs a day to just be. 😉 Loved your poem and can totally relate. 🙂
Sadly, 7 of those days have already gone past…
glad im not the only one 😀
😉 Misery love company
The story of my life. I thought when my children were grown and out on their own life would slow down, I wouldn’t have as much work to do, and I’d have all kinds of free time on my hands. NOT!
When there were no children in the house, it felt like there was more time. At the moment I have one back temporarily, and it does make a difference, though all the mess I need to deal with is my own.
I know that feeling 🙂
