It helps for some types of internal screaming, that’s for sure! When I am particularly aggravated with someone or a situation, it is not uncommon for it to be woven into the work in progress.
I conjecture that characters called Fassbender and Clark will meet gruesomely prolonged ends in an upcoming work, and it will be a delightful catharsis. I’m thinking impalement and disembowelment at present, skinning might be good, too. It’s really a shame that I don’t write (or read) horror at a time like this.
Those voices are the Nine Greek Muses. Noisy Ladies aren’t they. Mine scream and holler morning, noon and especially at night. I keep journals with me at all times in hopes of quieting down those Golden Girls!! LOL!! 🙂 😉
I know those ladies personally. Urania is always looking distant and Polyhymnia echoes. Thalia is funny, Melpomene is depressing, and Euterpe can’t keep still. Calliope is constantly feeding me suggestions! (and that’s as many as I can remember off the top of my head!) lol You know big families, sometimes you forget all the siblings. Several of them are characters in Grace books, and their mom Mnemosyne, too! 🙂
Shawn your poetry is so much fun! It sparks the imagination. Being raised a Baptist this song came to mind. You’ll remember Della Reese from the TV program “Touched By an Angel” well Sister Byrd this song is for you! Let the church say Amen!! http://youtu.be/YHwKV_5gGuk
Having some Scandinavian O'boy cocoa after dinner. Chuckle at these instructions every time.

Beautiful.
Thank you.
Simple but amazing, great work!
Thanks, Jane!
Those screamings must be given alphabetical lives before they quieten. The life of the writer!
lol

Too bad, I release those through poetry, works in progress is shelved until the peace to continue surfaces.

I normally drown the screaming out with a generous slug of a good single malt. Either that or scream-out louder.
These were actually more like anticipatory squeals, to be honest.
Though unwarranted, as it turned out.
Perfection !
Thanks, Sylvia
Great…👍
Thank, mfitz.
Once upon a time I had a classmate called Maureen Fitzgerald. I don’t suppose you’re her? That was in Kelowna.
My M is for Matt, so not the classmate of old:). I do enjoy your poetry though!
Nice to meet you, Matt. It was a long shot! 😉
I know the feeling, and I thoroughly enjoyed this. Thank you.
I’m glad you did!
