After

yesterday’s tears,

Today

on the breeze

I hear the

laughter

of angels

  1. Another Angel has joined Robin Williams, Lauren Bacall passed away at age 89. Betty has gone to join Bogie. So much sadness in such a short time. I’m afraid to buy the newspaper or look at my news-feed. My parents always said Death comes in Threes.
Been in a thoughtful mood since hearing of Robin Williams death yesterday. I will say that it has opened up dialogue on Depression. Suicide is tragic but his untimely passing may increase awareness of this disease. My prayers go out to his wife and children in their time of grief and sorrow.

    • This is something I have much too much involvement with. It requires a lot of steadfast love, and determination to help someone through depression. Sometimes, they slip past.

  2. Meredith Says:

He is my all time favorite (out of control) comedian. I hate the word F#@*, but when Robin used it, I laughed. I’ve seen nearly all of his movies and was entertained, amused, laughed and cried, sometimes simultaneously.

  3. Meredith Says:

    Your tribute is just right.

    Yeah, mork and mindy?

      • jensenempire2551 Says:

Yes, i don’t watch TV much anymore, but i do have fond memories of Robert Williams creative childlike mind…

      • So much creativity.

i cannot buy suicide, we’re missing something, however not clear ifinn good or bad?

      • I absolutely buy it. The wilder the clown, the more agonized is their interior monologue that tells them they are worthless. So many depressed kids use humour to deflect their own reality. Really great article about the process specifically using Chris Farley as an example, here: http://www.cracked.com/quick-fixes/robin-williams-why-funny-people-kill-themselves/

Very interesting piece, i see it does really talk about, the fact, possibly there was no problem in hiding behind a mask, people choose to be whomever!

This comment is not related to Robert Williams, i never look in depth about his life, only just recently found out that he spent a lot of time in Vancouver…

Sure there lost of use that had a shity childhood, i have now only learned to accept that and since changed my outlook as it made me who i am!

i good with that, however society doesn’t see it the same, so must follows some rules and thats ok too…

        Thanks for the insight Shawn…

Hell, you would make a good teacher…. Ooops!

      • lol

Good point. Acceptance of what has been and striving toward personal goals in the future are vital to satisfied life, I think.

      • jensenempire2551 Says:

Gee, teach your always make me think too hard it hurts sometimes…

      • jensenempire2551 Says:

        awe!

      • jensenempire2551 Says:

Ifinn the question crossed your mind did i ever think of suicide? Yes, lately never, i am comfortable asw to where i am, not so much with some people that some control over my life… But what can one do, that’s not crossing the line, something i’m not willing to do at this moment in time…

Cheers Shawn may your god bless well in everything you do!
