He pays the toll

peck east

peck west

She’s the vehicle for

this journey

over-heavy for the road

burdened by billboards

Her engine rattles,

clanks,

thuds

down the road.

The convoy carries on

taking

a toll.

  1. For some strange reason I get an image of Trolls saying Breaker. Breaker. 19. Then the song Convoy comes into my head. Guess I’m having another 8-track Flashback. Or I worked out too hard at the gym today! That’s a copy! LOL!!
