Last night

I fell asleep planning

an ensemble:

beige, flowing garments

open shoes

bare skin, no socks.

Spring is here!

Celebrate!

I awoke

to see snowflakes filling the sky

giant two inch diameter

behemoth flakes

mocking my dreams of spring.

Wardrobe re-think.

Boots today.

Again.

Still.

    March is a fickle month.

LOL glad it isn’t only me who has to deal with her fickleness. But, hey, it gives us something universal to complain, I mean write about.

Sounds like our weather. Yes, spring is just around the corner, but it seems like a long way off.

  4. Very beautiful poem. Lord knows you are not alone. They say March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. I am holding on to that second part. In the meantime I guess we just have to embrace these last days of winter as we move into spring. Peace and Blessings my friend

  5. Very fickle. Gorgeous blustery day yesterday. Pouring from the heavens today and a wind to match yesterday’s. Roll on Spring and lighter clothes to match the lighter days. 🙂 x

Yep. Heat, AC, heat, AC, wish I could afford the automatically adjusting thermostat. It is ridiculously cold for March!
