But the former doesn’t exist, and the latter does. Is a dream better than reality? Only in imagination. You must embrace and celebrate the reality, and not grieve over lost dreams… It’s like the exchange student mantra: not better, not worse, just different.
Shawn, it seems that you have a lot of excellent work going on over seas. I can always appreciate someone who shares my affinity for poetry and writing. I am a bit new to the scene but am trying to just experiment with the art form, similar to how I work with visual art. Thanks for following my blog and looking forward to speaking with you more. Your book sounds pretty awesome. How did you get started with that one in regards to inspiration?
I started writing, and it appeared. I kept writing, and it evolved. 🙂 If you read through Grace Awakening posts all the story is there. Perhaps this interview I did for a student in South Carolina is a good place to start: http://www.fc.sd83.bc.ca/~sbird/005A4B81-011F5300
I know the feeling all too well…It’s there one second, gone the next
Yes. 🙂 I had a great one brewing this afternoon, but I lost it. However, I got this one in its stead, so it all worked out.
funny…every time I lose one, I too, get another. Somehow though, the latter is never as good, to me, as the former.
