Some of us

have more to contain

to be little rays of sunshine,

day to day,

but that doesn’t mean

it doesn’t do us more good

to be sunshine

than for us to complain

about our rain.

  1. My Dad had two expressions, “I complained because I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet.”

“It is better to light one candle than to curse the darkness.” Both of my parents were born in 1930. The Greatest Generation impacted by the Great Depression, Jim Crow and World War II. They were doers not complainers.

    Happy Holidays!

  2. I would feel too soggy, if I complained about rain.

Merry Christmas, Shawn! Peace, joy, blessings and lots of inner sunshine to you.

  4. Being positive brings positives. And with positivity even your rain is enjoyable to dance in. Love this! ❤️
