I believed me
when I told myself I couldn’t do it.
I believed me
when I told myself nothing could be done.
I believed me
when I told myself nothing could change.
I believed me,
but I was wrong.

Powerful. Brought to mind when God called Moses to lead the Hebrews out of Egypt he said that he was unable, he stuttered, stammered, needed help from Aaron etc… Yet Moses was Greatly used by God. The Lord called Moses out of hiding in the Wilderness. Amazing. Sometimes we tell ourselves I can’t do this or that but with gentle prodding from God/Universe/Creator whatever we are called to do gets done!! As the elders in my Baptist Faith used to say, The Lord will make a way out of no way!! Amen Sister Bird!!
lol, thanks Deb.
I hear a lot of “I can’t” at school. Kids throw up so many barriers to their own success. Believing you can do something almost ensures its success, because it becomes the basis of perseverance.
Amen to that!! One has to believe in oneself first!!
Really enjoyed that! Excellent.
Thanks.
