you erupt in explosions of sound

oblivious (or indifferent) to the distraction you are.
The constant cries sound like
See me! me! me!
It’d be nice if you looked at others for a while,
perhaps they need to be seen, too.
I have one student who is like that. He deals with being totally ignored, when at home.

My second grade teacher Mrs. Mickens used to tell me, Mouth Almighty. Tongue eternal. Never stopping day or night.
Fifty years later I am much more quiet.
lol My year as a Rotary Exchange Student in Finland made a huge difference to my mouth. They are (generally speaking) a quiet, introverted nation. I still wasn’t as quiet as them, but I was significantly quieter than I’d been when I returned home a year later.
oh a tough lesson this. to find a balance where i work on myself, unselfishly…
