Your sweater is here
and if I breathe deeply enough
I’m in the scent of your embrace.
Beautiful and sad at the same time, Shawn. Reminds me of the scene in True Blood where Sookie asks Arlene how she has gotten over the loss of her husband Terry (because Sookie just lost Alcide) and Arlene tells her something like when she misses him, she takes out his jacket, puts it on and feels him holding her. Later in that episode, Sookie puts on Alcide’s leather jacket and curls up in bed with it on, breathing in his scent til she falls asleep. One of the most endearing scenes of that show.
I didn’t see that episode. I’ve read the whole series, but haven’t seen all the episodes of the TV show. It got so warped!
OMG you don’t even know the half of it… each season is more warped than the previous… but it is so worth it to watch it all the way through.
