I don’t think bitter people ever even learn from their negative experience, since they tend to blame everyone else for their issues. Until they take ownership, they can’t learn and grow.
Too true. It’s such an easy path to head down, though, so I can understand why people get stuck sometimes.

Bitterness implies lack of ownership. Without ownership of one’s being, there can be no enlightenment.
