Turning pages in the address book
cross a line across another entry.
Turning pages
studying the names crossed out
A memorial of friends and family gone
Greetings sent in murmured prayers
to rest in peace.

Same thing with my address book. More cross-outs as time goes on. So many have made that trip to the Heavenly realm. Sad.
It’s so sad. I keep my book in pencil, and will erase old addresses and update, but for a death, I just put a line through.
I seem to be doing a lot of this lately😥
😦 Me, too.
Jour de les Mortants- If it is not an actual day, it should be.
Oct 31 in Mexico isn’t it? Day of the Dead. Followed by Nov 1 All Saints Day?
November 2 is Dia de Los Muertos, which gave rise to my fractured French expression (should probably be Jour des Mortes?)
Hmm. No idea.
