I wonder why

you can defrost everything in the freezer

if you leave it slightly open for an hour,

but a turkey left to thaw for days in the fridge

stays frozen solid?

A great observation…perhaps it’s the ‘when in Rome’ scenario – a bird on its own has nothing to conform to 🙂

Salt water in the sink, for the last ten hours of defrosting, works wonders.

  TEN HOURS?! I defrost from frozen in a sink within 90 minutes.
