The gulf grows wider
as she waits for an apology
he doesn’t know is needed.
Ah that is so beautiful x
And so often true!
Truer words were never spoken!!! They just don’t get it.
Have you ever read that old Dave Barry piece on relationships? It reminds me of that.
Here, for your amusement: http://web.mit.edu/adorai/www/hesaidshesaid.html
Lovely. A lot said in 15 words.
The never-ending story.
Did I ever miss the mark or overstep the line that only you could see?
A question worth asking by both partners in a relationship.
i must stick up for the guys here, even though your poem is completely true and very eloquently put! 🙂 Us men often have no idea that we have done or said something wrong. It’s not ignorance on our part in many cases, it’s just that men and women think so totally differently about certain issues 😦
Trust me. I know. 🙂
Here in the comments you’ll see a link to a humorous piece by Dave Barry on this matter. Worth a read!
Thanks Shawn, and I’ll have a look at that link 🙂
That piece by Dave Barry is BRILLIANT!!!! It sums up perfectly what I was attempting to say. I hope lots of people click on the link, and well done to you for including it 🙂
🙂 Told ya.
