Maybe, have it at a competition so have to wait as I’m trying hard to get this one published somewhere other than my blog. But I will let you know what happens.
I have settled into comfort just posting here, but I have a growing desire to reach out to other audiences. I’m balancing full-time work, grad school studies, and daily writing along with sending the odd thing to my publisher. I’m hoping when the degree is finished I will have time to organize a submission plan and get onto sending things off!
I can relate to what you are saying here. The daily writing is vital to our craft, and reaching out on blogs is a great motivation to keep going, but also good to reach beyond that blog. I’d like to do more public performances again.
I haven’t done any in a while either, though of course, I regularly ‘perform’ and ‘present’ for my students! Modelling poetry presentation and narrative readings is part of my role as the English teacher/librarian.
Nice!
Thanks!
Knotting now so we can remember this moment..
So true, nonetheless with an algorithm to remove me from the net when i’m gone made by a dear friend…
I don’t do algorithms. Math department required!
❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻 again.. You continue to amaze me..
You’re sweet, Noorain!
Reblogged this on hobo univercity and commented:
as time goes on…
every poem is a monument – every moment is bead on the string of time

your personal string theory ?
lol
beautifully done, thank you for sharing. A favourite necklace, precious in its gift and the memories evoked.
I’m glad you enjoyed it Ellen. Thanks for stopping by.
Leave a bit of the string to grab on, when the unraveling seems imminent.
Or to pull to speed the unravelling?
too good
Thank you, Sanchita!
I love beading metaphors and have been doing some writing with these ideas too. Will share with you one day.
I look forward to it!
Perhaps I can email it to you 😉
Or post a link here.

Ah. Got it.
I write separate ones to submit as well. Some don’t mind blogged work. Some do.
Yes, I always check, but also found some magazines that pay as well and so keen to have some payments for some work when I can. all the best Shawn.
🙂
I should actually read my Writers’ Market books, shouldn’t I? 😉
Haha, yes I have one of those, also compiling my own lists looking at Pacific and Commonwealth anthologies and magazines etc.
