Anytime you create a poem it well worth reading!
Thanks, Kevin. It seems that if I write something sad, etc. people are concerned and send me lots of encouraging messages, but sometimes (usually, in my case) there’s nothing out of sorts with the poet, it’s just an exploration of theme or something. I thought I’d better clarify. 😉
Really powerful, though. 🙂
Thanks
Ooh ok, I glad you are just playing!
🙂
Great! you are thinking outloud.
Something like that.
Working on enjambment.
“All work and no play…….”- Stephen King, “The Shining” 🙂
🙂
What Form is this ?
I was working on enjambment.
Oh. I never heard of that before. Will have to check it out. Thanks 😊
It’s just about the length of the lines and wrapping sentences and phrases. When I was meeting with the pro poet/MFA instructor last weekend, there were concerns that my enjambment is sometimes doing the opposite of what it should be doing- not providing beats or emphasis, but jolting the reader out of the rhythm of the poem. I had never considered a specific role for enjambment, so now I’m thinking! 🙂
I like it!
Thanks, Cai.
