If those words are, “Will You Marry Me?” I’d tell her to stop waiting, dump him and go live your life. That’s what I did and never look back! Living Single! Living Golden!
Who knows what the words are! The reader gets to submit his/her own answer to that question, don’t they? 😉
True. She could be waiting for him to say, “Honey, I’ll cook tonight and take out the garbage!” LOL!!
Or “I’m leaving you after 50 years of spite” or “I’m ready to get a puppy” or “I’m done with drinking and drugs” or “I’m giving up my horrible job and will follow my passion, as you have always encouraged me” or “I am content.” Who knows?
