This joint needs stretching.

Lean into the pain,

just a little push.

Hold there,

on the edge of the agony.

Relax back.

Lean again; push

just

a little

further.

Stretch the joint;

flexibility is necessary,

when you may need to run,

eventually.

  1. How very appropriate! I’ve been home for two days with back & knee pain. Doctor wrapped both my knees with Ace Bandages and gave me two pain pills. I look like a Black Bride of Frankenstein combined with the Mummy. I also purchased some Arnicare Cream for my sore joints. Hopefully soon the Joints will be Jumping once again! LOL!!

  6. Wow, really great poem! I had a knee problem and every day I would stretch in spite of the pain, it got better but I often felt I was ‘on the edge of the agony.’ as you put it. Brilliant 😀

  7. Whoo, sharp. “When you may need to run.” Don’t know if you meant it that way, but certainly seemed to carry a darker meaning. Neat!
