Of course ghosts are real

Haven’t you felt them

swirling about you

like leaves in the wind?

Memories that haunt

spinning through your head

with joys and sorrows

that have no place in

tomorrow.

  1. Your poem popped up as I’ve been watching the Haunted series pretty much all day. Of course our internal ghosts and demons are perhaps more scary than the external ones.

Beautiful! Absolutely LOVE this simile: “Haven’t you felt them swirling about you like leaves in the wind?” Perfect 🙂

Yes, they are real and I like to chase them away like the fall breeze that’s blowing the dried up leaves from our yard. 😉

I feel them dancing upon my shadows, it’s such a joy to hear!
