I bought my wife clubs before a ring. I used to play college golf…and I still paid for her to begin lessons with a program through a local course…rather than risk the frustration of teaching her myself.
Usually I agree with this, but only if they are willing and patient. I’m taking driving lessons as an adult and left two of them crying.
Also, this is a little off topic, but I recently started having fun doing duet poems and wondered if you might be interested in collaborating? Here’s some of my previous collabs.
I’ll check out your collaborations, things are a little insane at the moment, now that school is starting, and I have no idea what I’m teaching, but anticipate 5 new courses to develop, Master’s assignment to work on (the readings!) and I have a manuscript to get to my agent the weekend. I’ll be in touch!
True to some extent but I don’t wait for anybody to help me and I loathe asking for help. If you want to get things done it’s best to do it yourself. I always try to find ways to fix my problems or challenges on my own. Guess that comes from years of being single and living by myself. Never had anyone around to ask from, I must find the solution by myself.
Oh! On that note I can relate. I grew up during the Civil Rights movement so I think in terms of Martin Luther King Jr. The United States needs a revolution in education also.

not always….have you ever seen someone try to teach their wife to play golf?
lol
No, but I have been the wife!
(both golf and driving lessons from hubby- NOT a good experience!)

Wise of you.
I do not play golf.
Neither does hubby, anymore. 😉
I get by with a little help from my friends.
Gonna try with a little help from my friends!
The same holds true for the helper.
Ah, yes. That’s true.
You’re on the money with that Shawn.
Thanks.
You’re welcome.

Then I wish you luck! Thanks for keeping this in mind. 😊
Will do.
Indeed.

Think of it in terms of the Americans joining the Allies toward the end of WW2 and making the difference that finally defeated the Axis powers…
Or the parents finally rising up and joining the teachers to make the difference that forced the government to actually come and negotiate.
