In quiet corners

obsession lingers

eyes stuck tight

while passion flames.

Wrapped in arms,

stroked, caressed,

paper thin

each moment savoured

with lingering longings

until with sighs,

the last

page is turned.

(Always so sad when a great book comes to an end)

    It’s about a book?! I mean, of course, a great book… 😉

    • It’s about the obsession of a great book, about folks holing up in corners all over the house, each person sunk in their own imaginary world. Like my house, when everyone is reading a different book from the Outlander series, immersed in a passionate adventure.

Love it! I hate when that last page is turned. I never want a good book to end.

    • I know the feeling, Michelle, though I confess, if it’s a really good one, after savouring a few moments, I’ll flip back to the beginning and start all over immediately! 🙂

  8. OH!! That was about a BOOK??? Oooohhhh….uhhm, ahh hem! Of COURSE it was about a book, I didn’t think anything otherwise!! 🙂

  9. I love this, it is so true. I always feel I need to share everything I’m feeling when I finish a book, the excitement, happiness, surprised..
