The dog has been slurping in the toilet
He saunters down the hall,
water dripping from his muzzle,
stops beside me, gazing adoringly,
and kisses my arm with long wet strokes.
As he flops to clean his privates,
I go off in search of soap.

Lovely…. π
Thanks.
You are most welcome. π
Ah, reality.
π
We dog owners have strong white blood cells π
This is what I tell my husband.
And at least they are unlikely to eat our dead bodies should we perish alone with the dogs in the house.
Short, sweet and tender. Loved it.
I’m glad, Sylvia!
Hilarious. I love it!
π
Ha! Dogs are such weird people! π
lol. They are. My little people in poodle suits.
Nature at its most normal. Humorous but truthful post. First laugh of the day for me. Peace.
Glad to give you a laugh!
This was perfect…and illustrates absolute love both for and from our dogs, soap notwithstanding.
Yes. π
grossly gorgeous! That’s what he is. So sweet.

Love it, captures a big sloppy dog π
>>slurp!!<<
How true. We love them enough to accept their love and look for soap. Blessings to you, Shawn…
Thanks, Carol Ann
Those affectionate licks of love, who could resist?
π I know.
: )
Its when they lick you on the mouth that you really start to worry. π
Yeah. I try to keep the tongues away from my face.
Haha – I bet you do! Love the reality hit of this and sadly so true
π
luckily my boys are too small to drink from the toilet… even so I know where that tongue has been. π
lol
