Loved this, and ‘mist kissed’ is just gorgeous! Also love the image of an eagle searching for spring, as if spring was a person, or identifiable, singular, identifiable thing. Mystical somehow. Thanks for sharing:-) H xxxx
lol. ME, TOO!! This morning, I had to re-think my entire ensemble since I couldn’t wear the strappy shoes I’d planned, due to the giant 2″ diameter snowflakes filling the sky. Enough already! lol
If I believed in a punishing god, I would be worried. I’m choosing, rather, to hold to the existence of almanac records which have recorded the arrival of spring year after year… “April” is my mantra. 😉
Love the imagery with the poem! Although you write so well I can visualize it clearly in my mind. Thanks for stopping by and following my blog. I look forward reading more from you! 🙂

Thanks. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
You can say more with fewer words than anyone else I know!
Thank you. That’s a lovely compliment!
a gorgeous painting in words.
Thank you.
Your poem perfectly describes the photo. Both are beautiful.

Thanks, Michelle.
Snow is melting here, so spring must be on its way!
It is SNOWING!! HUGE flakes falling with blizzard-like rapidity past my window. I’m disgusted. lol
As the days turn dark…
winds howling like the hell hound’s bar,
amidst the chaos, hope is reeled..
drink from this hero, and your wounds are healed…
Lovely
Thanks for liking my poem. It gives me the confidence i need to make more. 🙂
My pleasure. The more you write, the better you’ll be at it. Just keep plugging! 🙂
Oh I hope he finds it!

lol Spring officially arrives in 6 days. All I can say is that it had better not snow after that until next November!
Amen!
