Between

Mist kissed mountains,

Subtle gradations of grey

mark lake and sky;

an eagle sails by

in search of spring.

  1. Loved this, and ‘mist kissed’ is just gorgeous! Also love the image of an eagle searching for spring, as if spring was a person, or identifiable, singular, identifiable thing. Mystical somehow. Thanks for sharing:-) H xxxx

    As the days turn dark…
    winds howling like the hell hound’s bar,
    amidst the chaos, hope is reeled..
    drink from this hero, and your wounds are healed…

    Oh I hope he finds it!

    • lol. ME, TOO!! This morning, I had to re-think my entire ensemble since I couldn’t wear the strappy shoes I’d planned, due to the giant 2″ diameter snowflakes filling the sky. Enough already! lol

    Love the imagery with the poem! Although you write so well I can visualize it clearly in my mind. Thanks for stopping by and following my blog. I look forward reading more from you! 🙂
