and so you live
in dreams
twitching at imaginary foes
muttering speeches
you will not remember in the morning
as I will awaken
and forget
you.

Not sure if this is relative to this poem, but it can be frustrating sometimes to wake up and not remember what was dreamt– especially right at the instant of waking up. But I do like the “twitching” and muttering speeches”. Have a wonderful holiday, Shawn.
And to you!
Yes, these are dreams. Most all are forgotten. Great poem!
Thank you.
Shawn, You have entered my Dreamscapes. I’ve had the same sleep experiences. My dreams are often populated by friends, family and total strangers in odd places and weird circumstances. Dreams truly are the final frontier. As always another Excellent & Great poem.
Glad you enjoyed it.
This is lovely.
Thanks.
