Interesting are there more than one person you repeat ‘you in the other place’ twice? Entwined between sheets, does this other person spend a lot of time in bed? Is it a romantic relationship? So many questions unanswered.
Unanswered questions are what open up the possibilities…
Making it up as we go along is what life’s all about isn’t it Shawn.?

I love Shawn’s poetry. This one speaks to me on a very personal level…my life is a series of making it up as I go … one day at a time.
I love this. My mind is spitting out so many ideas and I get it. Life is not a structure, it is a fabricated set of rules all made up as society changes thus we are all just winging it. I’m sure that wasn’t what you meant.

To be honest, I was playing with words and phrases in this one. The juxtaposition of words and phrases leaves enough gaps for many, many meanings to be discovered. Your interpretation definitely works.
