poem- pondering holiness October 16, 2013

Sanctum sanctorum

Holy of holies

Peeled from decorum

Whipping up follies

Shredded and tore them

Fighting for soul ease

Making good for him

Striving to fill peace

Sanctum sanctorum

Wholly ’til holy.

    Sanctum sanctorum – loved that.

    • Just read a line with the phrase in Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare and I liked the way it rolled off the tongue. I composed a poem as I was falling asleep, but of course forgot it. I like this one, though.

Cool work!… I JUST, just was talking about these kind of awesome things – like sanctuary…in a class that I am taking. It would be nice if we all had a space like that… sometimes…. maybe its just hard to find.. art can bring us closer?
