Please take a moment and introduce yourself and your blog in the comment section below ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓  so I can check out your blog, too!  It’s nice to follow back other bloggers and share the love, but if you don’t comment, I never know you’re here.

I look forward to meeting you! 🙂

    Thanks for this!

I love talking about books from the literary cannon and what makes them awesome, so my blog is my chance to really dive in to what I love about them (or dislike). I try not to go into summary or become preachy. It’s a just a hot soak after a long day, talking about one of my favorite subjects. I’m hoping to open up some real discussions as far as the books and their interpretations go.

    Hello Shawn,

My name is John. I must first say that I am very impressed with your blog and prolific writing. You make it seem as if the words and ideas come so easily. I am new to the creative writing process but started my page because I find writing to be a very therapeutic and satisfying endeavor. While the majority of my content will be dark in nature, I will always strive to be fresh and imaginative.

I post image driven short narratives, poetry (I am extremely new to poetry and honestly it scares me a little), and another thing I enjoy doing is finding striking or meaningful images that may not immediately inspire a story or poem in my minds eye, but need a voice. For these I create “Motivational Posters”. Assembling the image, my own title for the image, and a caption that is a few lines long that hopefully creates a personal imaginative journey for the viewer. Sometimes with a subtle (or not so subtle) social commentary.

Take a look when you can and I hope you enjoy what you see, even if it may not be your favorite content. I will continue to enjoy your site as well I am sure.

I wish you all the best

    JMC

Hi. My name’s Bob and my blog is called kuppajodotcom (at http://kuppajodotcom.wordpress.com/). I like to write essays about travel, the arts and general observations. Since I like to put a lot of effort into writing poignant articles I find it difficult to put out a post a day – I aim for once a week.
I’ve always enjoyed writing and hope you get a chance to read some of my articles (they’re all true – maybe slightly embellished but never made up).

  22. Waqas's avatar Waqas Says:

    Hey there,
I am Waqas, and i have nothing special to tell about myself except my dalliances that i write about on my blog http://liltdalliance.wordpress.com . I am a Software Developer by profession, Artist by passion (at least trying to be), and I follow Sufism (at least try)

    • Thanks for introducing yourself Waqas. I have never met anyone before who is a follower of Sufism. Can you explain a couple of the tenets of your faith?

      • Waqas's avatar Waqas Says:

I follow sufism as in i love reading about it, and try to follow it’s practices. Its all about exploring everything through inner paths, through your soul. Its all about giving up everything and yet not loosing a thing at all and achieving everything. Its about finding your own reality within yourself and stop looking for answers from beyond you. The moment you are able to speak to yourself is the moment you will start receiving answers.

        You must read about Sufism.

      • I believe I have, though not recently.

Thanks for stopping by and introducing yourself!

  23. My name is Stephanie and I run the blog “Ampitheater Words” a blog name that came from many years ago when I saw the ideas that were coming from my head as being both great and quite….lacking….so some would ideas would die and some would live on just like gladiators of old in the amphitheaters. My blog is a fusion of two styles: the creative and the scholarly. Ancient Roman history is my love so I get really excited when there is something neat and maybe not common knowledge that I can share with others about these ancient people. I also can’t stop writing prose and poetry so there is a healthy mix in there as well! I’m still growing my blog quite organically but I’m learning a lot in the process!

Your posts and your style keep me interested in what you have to say so I enjoy reading what you post! Thanks for taking the time to get to know us a bit. 🙂

  24. Hi! I love your poetry, even if I only read in batches. And, speaking of poetry, my blog is Journal of Poems (journalofpoems.wordpress.com). It is a blog for the purpose of writing poems and thoughts about what happened in my day. Theoretically, I post every day…=P

Hi there! I’m Jennifer and I’ve only been blogging a couple of months. My blog is called Cabinet of Curiosities. The title comes from the Cabinets of Curiosities that Europeans collected. My take on it is that we are all our own Cabinets of Curiosities. We are made up of all the strange and unique things we have “collected” over the years. I blog about all the things that I find in my own cabinet.
