I find them rather creepy. Those 3D covers are like sinister 1950s B movie pop up books for adults. I think they cheapen the product. They just weird me out! Ugh!
Well, the product is the art, the media is the B grade books. You’re not meant to read those, after all; you’re meant to be entertained by the art. Some of them are definitely sinister, though! You’re right.
Okay but now I’m going to have nightmares of the 50 foot woman, the incredible shrinking man, pod people and they came from outer space all this week. The long distance screams you hear will be coming from me as I’m abducted from New York home and transported to 1952!
