Outside my window: blue sky, new green.
Promise and potential
A future of fecundity.
Inside my heart: fog, ice
You are gone
The planet is too joyful
for such a day.

NaPoWriMo Day 26.
The prompt today was for a humorous parody, but as I received the news of the death of another dear person in my life this weekend, humour is not on my mind. 4 great losses in 10 months. What a wearisome year this has been.

Can I get an “empathy” option instead of “liking” the post? Thank you for speaking your truth in shadow (and beautifully so).
My parody is not humorous either. As I’m feeling miserable from shot #2. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
This year has been rough. We lost two dear friends too. You have my sincere sympathy for the passing of your friend.
We’re up to 4 friends and family in the last 10 months. None to Covid, which is a blessing, but it is far too much death.
Just got word an hour ago of the death of another dear friend yesterday. That’s 3 in April, alone. I am overwhelmed.
Oh I’m sad to read of your loss … go gently ♥️
