is al fresco dining
‘Hello out there!’
‘Where are you, baby?
‘Over here, boys!’
Amphibian karaoke.
Beating out its rhythm of
summer romance.

It’s such a happy sound.
Good word picture. It reminds me of our time living in Penticton when we had daily visits from quail families. There was always one straggler who came scurrying after the crowd calling what sounded like “Where are you.,” “Where are you?” over and over again. Who says we can’t understand what animals are saying?

Reblogged this on MOOMOR PUBLISHING.
They sound rather like my first attempt at karaoke, or maybe even better. Cute!
