“Stares,” not “stairs.” Haiku is great writing discipline.
I was going to fix that, but then I thought perhaps she is climbing somewhere (or hopes to)
Mutual it is; otherwise, satisfaction isn’t.
Not necessarily. Making someone else happy can be satisfying, otherwise we wouldn’t give gifts?
I was thinking of the more specific matter, but, you’re right- I have always felt better giving than receiving.
