Airborne tanks strafe the window,
humming engines,
peppering thunks as they run their
Kamikaze missions:
June bugs crazed by light.

(It can be kind of scary late a night while I’m working at the computer!)
Yep. They can generate some serious momentum.
I don’t know how they survive the constant head trauma!
I hate June Bugs! They traumatized me as a kid and I have never liked them since. Ugh!
They’re just so BIG! They’re scary when they’re pounding on the windows late at night!
Yes! One got in my hair when I was a kid and it was such a scary experience for me. I also sat on one once when we were camping in the woods. 😫 not liking them at all 😢

I’d rather have June bugs than “no-see-‘ums”, any day.
or a wasp caught in behind your glasses…
