A brief calamity
dissolving,
excites feeling:
growing hope.
Intrigued, just knowing
lifts my newly omnipresent peace,
quietens restless spirit.
Triumph unfolds,
venturing with xenophilia’s youthful zeal.

Today’s napowrimo.net prompt is to write an abecedarian poem, which works through the alphabet, either word by work, or line by line.
April 12- just noticed my typo ‘ word by work’ in my comment above. lol. Sub-conscience speaking truth? 😉

Nice one. 🙂
Thank you!
Very good! It doesn’t read as contrived to squeeze into the restrictions, and comes out as poetry!
Always a goal.
*afterthought* You chickened out on the ‘X’. I don[‘t blame you!
HA! I hadn’t noticed! I’ll have to add one in!
Sexual attraction to aliens certainly adds a new element!
lol
This describes my experience with the car wreck last weekend. Lesson learned, yet the event itself is a fading blur.
Glad you are well!
When I was bedridden with my broken ankle, I kept notes about how the pain felt, and used it in a novel. I thought I’d remember the quality of the pain, but recorded just in case. Sure enough, I have forgotten everything I didn’t write down.
This must have been quite a challenge. Incredible!
Not too bad, actually. Under 10 mins? (Until Colonialist pointed out I’d missed X!)
I chose this variation because I figured it’d offer more challenge than the ‘start a sentence with the next letter’ version.
Well done Shawn, such talent.

Ahhh. Aren’t you sweet!
Well done! Some great words in there. 🙂
lol
Thanks, Debra. 🙂
I have not tried this form so thanks for sharing I am going to give it a go 😊
Have fun with it! I would love to have used a more interesting X word.
Be share to share the link to your finished product. 🙂
An excellent alphabetical study! You have proven yourself to be a true Abacedarian!
lol. Thank you, kindly.
