You are
an uncommon mystery
that baffles the sleuths
You are
a melodious litany
of spiritual truths
You are
a sonorous villainy
raising the roofs
You are
in my periphery
and have been since youth.

Don’t ask. Sometimes I don’t have a clue what they’re really about, either. 😉

There’s a gorgeous lilting cadence to this poem. And I love the reveal at the end. =)
Thank you!
Your disclaimer made me smile.
lol
I couldn’t help it. I could imagine all the clamouring for explanation, and I don’t have one. I was just pulling rhymes out of my brain, and this is where it led. Which is not to say that in a day or two I won’t look at it and go, “Oh! THAT’s what it’s about!” but for now? Oblivious. 🙂
Very beautiful
Thank you.
Exactly ^^^ I love the disclaimer. That’s how I am too.
🙂
The cryptic notions here work well. I can relate well. Most people can’t understand what I’m writing, poetry or otherwise. 😉
lol
Sometimes that’s a good thing, but sometimes the audience getting the message is kind of important. I usually want them to have something they can grab onto, even if it is their own experience.
Excellent channeling of the Muse, the best work comes when by the Spirit you are used…Beautiful.
Thank you Sirius, I appreciate that.
You are most gratefully welcome 😉
This one has me thinking….. When I figure it out, I will let you know:)
lol
Love this! And I agree, the disclaimer is awesome. The honesty of it all–shows me that you remain in touch with your humanity even as you channel your divine creativity.
Lorien, you are too kind.
When I read, I hear. I heard, I liked, a lot. It comes across like music.
Thanks, Howard.
I simply love your flow. Thanks for sharing.
Be A Blessing!

So beautiful, like a song.
Thanks Corrine.
That’s quite beautiful.
Thank you, Tania. That’s kind of you to say.
I’m new to this scene, but from what I’ve read and managed to find, I’ve enjoyed your works the most so far.
Thanks very much! I do my best!
How lovely xx 🙂
Thanks, Rose.
Beautiful & lyric!
Thanks, George.
Hi Shawn,
This poem resonates with me. I love the rhyme scheme and meter. Very sonorous indeed. 🙂
Thank you.
Sometimes the best ones are the ones we don’t quite understand until later. 🙂 I really like this one!
Thanks, Rachel
