I counted down for 572 days.  Here we are!  Incredible how quickly hours fly by when they’ve been anticipated for 572 days!  But each hour so anticipated is to be savoured and enjoyed for 572 days to come, and then beyond.

  1. Great poem but this song came to mind and I couldn’t resist. Enjoy the Wrinkley Rocker Mick Jagger. http://youtu.be/3a7cHPy04s8

I liked this poem and this post. First, the poem is quite good. It has a very positive feel and gives a sense of anticipation. Second, the post has a mystery (at least to me). This is my first time reading this blog and so I don’t know what the “572 days” is referring to. I don’t know if it part of the poem or a post script to it. As I read the poem and the note at end, and then reviewed them both, I kept wondering what the reference was for. I kept trying to look into it and figure out what it meant. I don’t know if this was the intention, but it made it interesting.

    • lol Well, long time readers of my blog know that 573 days ago I invited best selling author Diana Gabaldon (25 million Outlander series books sold in 38 countries and 34 languages) to join us at our writers’ festival. The time has come, and we’ve been having an amazing weekend with her (and the other 10 presenters).
